Weekend Round Up From Vegas

On Friday Night at Jet Nightclub at The Mirage kicked off Labor Day weekend with the hottest Friday night in town.  Rapper Tyga performed a special performance of his hit song “Lime and the Coconut” where he shook it all up for all of the beautiful women in the house.  The crowd was so enthralled with the “tropical” theme of his song, they threw beach balls throughout the club.  Also in the house was Richard Brenner, president of New Line Cinema.  Perched at a table in the main room, Washington Wizards center Brenden Haywood had a table packed with ladies and downed the grey goose, red bull and patron silver the whole night.  Haywood and Brenner danced with their lady friends all evening. 
 

On Saturday night, stars descended up The Bank Nightclub at Bellagio to party in style.  Actor David Spade stopped by the club and enjoyed a VIP table on the club’s mezzanine while DJ David Christian kept the club on edge.   Actress Michele Rodriguez also hit up the spot joining a celeb friendly table that included Brandon Davis and Rick Salomon.

Over at The Mirage, actor Kevin James dined at Stack Restaurant & Bar before hitting the stage in the Danny Gan’s Theater. 

Joel Madden rocked the house on Sunday night as he sat in as guest DJ at the hottest nightlife destination in Sin City, The Bank Nightclub (client interest) at Bellagio.  The Good Charlotte rocker arrived at 1am with a group of friends sans Baby-Mama, Nicole Ritchie.  But according to eyes on the scene, Joel’s eyes weren’t straying!  Shortly after taking over the DJ booth, Joel’s twin brother Benji (and lead singer of Good Charlotte) showed up hand in hand with his girlfriend Paris Hilton and were escorted promptly to Joel’s VIP table overlooking the pulsating dance floor.   As Joel brought the packed dance floor to a feverish pitch Benji and Paris quietly cuddled and enjoyed the VIP view.
Prior to The Bank, Paris, Benji and sister Nicky dined at Fix Restaurant & Bar at Bellagio.  The Hilton’s, both frequent diners at Fix, requested their usual corner table and noshed on Executive Chef Brian Massie’s menu of Kobe beef sliders, caviar tostadas, surf and turf, yellowtail sashimi and sipped on Evian water.
 

Over at Jet Nightclub, Brittany Snow popped into JET Nightclub to check out DJ Bad Boy Bill and Riz.  The blonde cutie arrived with her girlfriend and fellow actress Jessica Stroup.  Snow who is now dating Ryan Rottman, spend the day at Bare pool lounge soaking up the sun on an exclusive day bed.  The other Britney, Spears that is, was at Bare pool earlier enjoying the afternoon of poolside pampering at the posh Bare Pool Lounge at The Mirage.  Sipping only Fiji water, Brit enjoyed the view from the VIP deck alongside several gal pals and famed hair stylist, Kim Vo.

Actor Vince Vaughn was spotted dining at Yellowtail Sushi Restaurant & Bar (client interest) at Bellagio late Monday evening (9/1).  The actor arrived with a gorgeous brunette and another couple and requested a quiet corner table overlooking Bellagio’s iconic lake and fountain show.  While the group sampled up-and-coming celebrity Chef Akira’s Back’s world class sushi, king crab dynamite and rock shrimp, they were more intent on relaxing with not only one bottle of wine but enjoyed two bottles of 1982 chateau haut brion, a very exclusive (and expensive) French Bordeaux.  The restaurant stayed open an extra hour for the party (until about 1 a.m.).

Across the rotunda at Fix Restaurant & Bar, Washington Wizards center Brenden Haywood enjoyed dinner with friends and his girlfriend. 
 

Getting ready for the weekend, Nicky Hilton was spotted getting a quick nail polish change inside Brannon Hair Salon at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino on Friday. Her boyfriend David Katzenberg was in tow and sat by to keep her company.  Following her polish,  Hilton was seen trying her hand at the new Poker Lounge.  Meanwhile, another infamous  adult star, Ron Jeremy was spotted dining at Mr. Lucky’s.  Wonder if they bumped into each other and discussed a new project?  Maybe, “A weekend in Paris”?

Later that night, PURE Nightclub kicked Labor Day Weekend off with a bang as celebrities flocked to the mega club to party it up Sin City style. With PURE resident, DJ AM manning the turntables, the energy was through the roof as Paris and Nicky Hilton entered and took to a lush VIP bed on the main stage.  Joined by several friends including Nicky’s boyfriend, David Katzenberg, and “Special Friend”Jeff Beacher, the crew partied all night drinking Vodka cocktails and taking down shots of Tequila.  The Hilton sisters had club goers going wild as they took breaks dancing throughout the night to pose for photos with eager fans.  Also stopping into PURE and kicking it up a notch was Eva Longoria-Parker and Wilmer Valderrama with a slue of friends.  The group joined the Hilton sisters on the VIP stage and kept the party going all night long as Valderrama toast with shots of tequla while Longoria-Parker kept it cool drinking water.  Throughout the night the Hiltons, Longoria-Parker and Valderrama made their way to the DJ booth, giving their praises to DJ AM as the turntable champ threw down a high-octane mix that had the nightclub firing on all cylinders.
 
Larry Johnson, all pro running back of the Kansas City Chiefs also opted for the main VIP stage as he got in one last night of partying before the start of the NFL season. Drinking Armand de Brignac Ace of Spades Champagne, the star running back chatted it up with friends and bounced to the beats of DJ AM.  Also getting the weekend started at PURE were Lamar Odom of the Los Angels Lakers, Rudy Gay of the Memphis Grizzles, the Milwaukee Bucks duo of Damon Jones and Tyronn Lue and Stephan Bonner of UFC fame.
 
On the late side of Friday night, Valderrama and Johnson headed south on The Strip to LAX Nightclub to continue the party.  The two grabbed separate tables on the VIP stage but both opted for the same drink of choice, tequila.  Also hanging out on stage were Playboy Girl Next Door, Holly Madison with Mindfreak, Criss Angel.  Is Criss making a move on Madison?   Several cast members of Angel’s upcoming show, Criss Angel Believe by Cirque du Soleil, joined the two and savored Rum and cokes until last call.  Meanwhile after PURE, Longoria-Parker made her way to Noir Bar where she hung out with a few friends and was later joined by Valderrama.

Friday night at TAO Las Vegas saw Perez Hilton hosting the nightclub’s Labor Day weekend bash. Perez arrived at TAO with a group of friends including Jessica Origliasso from the Australian pop duo The Veronicas, who are currently on tour with the Jonas Brothers. Also joining the group was Jessica’s ex-boyfriend Azaria, the frontman of the Australian rock band The Follow. Azaria recently made headlines as he was reportedly missing for one week until he was later found in New York. After the lively bunch had fun posing for photos on the red carpet, they went upstairs to the dance floor VIP area where they danced to the sounds of DJ Reach and imbibed on vodka cocktails.

LAX Nightclub lit up The Strip last night as Las Vegas’ Labor Day Weekend festivities flourished.  Reality show star Khloe Kardashian was joined by boxer Zab Judah and Shaun Phillips of the San Diego Chargers at a luxurious red leather VIP booth while the main stage was filled with famous athletes.  Larry Johnson of the Kansas City Chiefs, Rashad McCants of the Minnesota Timberwolves, Antoine Wright of the Dallas Mavericks, Damon Jones of the Milwaukee Bucks, Juwon Howard of the Houston Rockets and former NBA player Howard Eisley were among revelers at the high energy hot spot.  

Meanwhile, partiers at PURE Nightclub were in for a treat as actress Haylie Duff, actor Nick Zano, actor Channing Tatum and his Step Up costar Jenna Dewan swung by to soak in the scene at Sin City’s sexiest spot.  The trio took to a table on the main stage of the club where they danced and mingled with nearby fans for the majority of the night.  Also stopping by the chic club was NBA player Jared Dudley of the Charlotte Bobcats.  
 
Later in the night Larry Johnson and Shaun Phillips were spotted showing off their style at The Strip’s most fashionable spot, Christian Audigier The Nightclub..  The two all star athletes spent the night in the VIP section of the club where they sipped on cocktails with a group of friends.
Labor Day weekend in Las Vegas always guarantee sightings of Hollywood faces, and the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino lived up to its reputation Saturday night by being the place of choice for Paris and sister Nikki Hilton, alongside their boyfriends Benji Madden and David Katzenberg.  Anti-club and rock lounge Wasted Space lured the foursome in; they enjoyed multiple rounds of shots and danced in VIP.  Paris and Benji were spotted in a romantic lip-lock at various times throughout the night.  

Over at Body English, the Smashtime party was heated up as E!’s Daily 10 hosts celebrated the birthday of Sal Masekela.  In attendance to grant Masekela birthday wishes were Baron Davis of the LA Clippers, and Nikki and David who stopped by to chat it up with Masekela.  

Wayne Newton spent Saturday night at blush boutique nightclub. He was celebrating a friend’s wedding and they danced all night long.

Saturday afternoon at TAO Beach saw a slew of famous names relaxing at the 18,000 square-foot Asian oasis. Lounging at one of the private cabanas was celebrity blogger Perez Hilton hanging out with friends which included singer and actress Christina Milian. Perez enjoyed a TAO-hito and assorted sushi rolls.

Just after Hilton left TAO Beach, oil heir Brandon Davis, actor Wilmer Valderrama and Pamela Anderson’s ex-husband Rick Salomon were spotted hanging out at the cabanas.

Also spotted at TAO Beach was MTV UK’s VJ Tim Cash.

Saturday night at TAO Las Vegas was the hottest spot on the Strip as the club saw the return of DJ Vice as the club’s Saturday night resident DJ.  Paris and Nicky Hilton arrived late at TAO again with Jeff Beacher in tow, to dance to Vice’s beats. The Hiltons partied the night away at the owner’s table on the dance floor. Also spotted  was actor Wilmer Valderrama. The actor was in great spirits when he took the mic and addressed the packed house.  

Also spotted was world renowned DJ Erick Morillo. Morillo will be spinning at TAO Sunday night.
The Sunday night party inside PURE Nightclub was off the charts as DJ AM and DJ Jazzy Jeff took to the turntables to keep the dance floor packed all night long.  The industry legends treated the masses to an exciting battle of the beats as the party raged on until the early morning hours.  Stopping in to check out the sizzling scene was celebrity blogger Perez Hilton who was spotted mingling with Jess Origliasso from The Veronicas and her on-again/off-again beau Azaria from The Follow.  The group enjoyed PURE’s superior VIP service at a plush table on the main stage while scoping out the scene at America’s hippest hotspot.  Also making PURE his party spot of choice last night was former NBA pro Gary Payton.

Over at sister property LAX Nightclub, The Sugarhill Gang had the energy going through the roof as the group performed their chart-topping hits for the packed two-story club.  The crowd was in a frenzy, snapping photos and moving to the high-energy sounds The Sugarhill Gang provided.  After the performance, the group retreated to a plush VIP table on stage where they sipped on Moet & Chandon White Star Champagne until the early morning hours.

Farther North on The Strip at sensational sushi spot, Social House at Treasure Island, famed illusionist David Copperfield stopped in for a late night snack with a friend after his show.  Copperfield and his guest dined on Kobe sliders and chicken teriyaki in the swanky birdcage lounge before calling it a night.
