John Dupont Serves Up The Award-Winning New World Cocktail

Las Vegas – Twin Creeks inside Silverton Casino Lodge now features the New World Cocktail, a specialty drink recently recognized in Conde Nast Traveler magazine.
Created by Twin Creeks’ master mixologist John Dupont, the New World Cocktail features the perfect blend of Appletons VX Rum, Grand Marnier, Liquore Galliano, fresh lemon sour and caramelized orange zest. The cocktail perfectly complements the strikingly unique atmosphere created by Twin Creeks’ wood floors, ceiling beams, sheers and candle niches.
Dupont’s New World Cocktail was recently named runner-up in a national cocktail competition held by Grand Marnier and Conde Nast Traveler. Bartenders from around the country submitted original recipes for destination-inspired Grand Marnier cocktails. Ten finalists were selected by award-winning mixologist Tony Abou-Ganim and from those, the New World Cocktail was awarded the runner-up title.
