The second round of the NBA playoffs is set to begin Sunday, and it appears as though the match ups will be a bunch of battles between old and young stars.

So much for the casino gambling issue being tabled this year in Massachusetts. On Wednesday, proponents and anti-casino groups will square off in a public showdown over the future of gambling in the state.

Each year, different lawmakers take their stab at bringing casino gambling to Hawaii, and each year, those bills are turned away by conservative legislators unwilling to take the plunge into the gaming industry.

A good thing is turning bad quickly in Ohio where voters approved four casinos that would generate millions of dollars and jobs for the state. A proposed tax, however, is threatening to cut both revenue and employment opportunities.
