New Online Casino slot from Rival Gaming

2009-11-30

I-slots are unique to Rival Gaming online casinos. Therefore the release of a new I-slot is eagerly awaited by the online gaming industry. Over the weekend Rival Gaming has released a new I-slot called A Switch in Time. This is one of its best online slot games and is bound to draw a lot of traffic during the festive season.

A Switch in Time actually consists of three different slot games with different sets of symbols and different payout tables. They are connected by a time machine, which is the common symbol for all three games.

The slot game begins in the 19th century with symbols typical of that era. These include the pocket watch, the parchment, the gas lamp, the traveler’s case, the ornate table clock and sherry decanters. The wild symbol is the hour glass and the free spins are triggered by the girl. Three time machine symbols trigger bonus round which gives the player control of the time machine. By manipulating the buttons in the control panel players first accumulate bonus points and are then taken to a different time zone.

The second zone is the prehistoric era when beasts like the mastodon and the saber tooth tiger roamed the earth. It was also the time of dinosaurs like the Tyrannosaurus rex. Other symbols on the reels in the zone are the prehistoric man, his tools and the wheel. The fire is the wild symbol and it expands to blaze across all the rows. The prehistoric girl is a scatter symbol and triggers the free spins. As is usual with I-slots there are some nifty animations. The animals in the rock painting move by themselves and the T-rex exhibits full scale animation, which is another unique Rival Gaming feature. The bonus game in this time zone is a battle with the T-rex after which players return to the starting zone.

The future zone contains an assortment of aliens, an alien city, a radar panel searching for life and a futuristic ship. A purple gaseous cloud is the wild symbol. The bonus game in this time zone is a cyber robot war. In all three zones the scoring opportunity comes in the free spins round. The more the number of scatter symbols that trigger the free spins the better it is for the player. In the main time zone five scatter symbols award 78 free spins with a 9x multiplier.

A Switch in Time has gone live at all Rival Gaming online casinos. CasinoAdvisor recommends Ruby Royal Casino and Sloto’ Cash Casino. All Rival Gaming online casinos accept players from the United States.
